EXPANSION IN TELEVISION PACKAGE FOR 2012 SEASON
THE KUMHO Tyres V8 Touring Car Series will feature in its own, dedicated, one-hour television program on Australia’s new home of motorsport – SPEED.
In addition to its existing television package of coverage on the AVE-produced ‘Speedweek’ on SBS and ‘Inside SPEED’ on SPEED, all six rounds of the 2012 Kumho Series will now have a standalone, one-hour program dedicated to each round of the championship.
An expansion of the coverage shown on ‘Speedweek’ and ‘Inside SPEED’, the dedicated Kumho Series programs on SPEED – produced by AVE - will feature increased race coverage and additional colour stories.

The category is based on de-registered Falcon and Commodore V8 Supercars.
Eligible models are: Ford Falcon EF to BA. Holden Commodore VP to VZ.
As the cars are former V8 Supercars, the Technical Regulations are based on their respective V8 Supercar requirements, with changes made to reduce maintenance and running costs.
